MDF offers smooth surfaces and a uniformly dense core which make it suitable for cutting, machining and moulding. It is also widely used in furniture manufacturing and can be veneered, laminated or painted to offer a range of finishes. Standard MDF is unsuitable in applications where the panels are to be exposed to moisture: MR grade is available for such purposes. We stock a full range of sizes in both grades to ensure the right product is available forour customers at all times.

Moisture Resistant Neatmatch which is a decorative panelling product is made from moisture resistant MDF and is manufactured to give the appearance of tongue and groove boarding. It has a smooth pre-sanded surface, ready to be painted and stained, and is supplied in large 2440mm x 1220mm (8’ x 4’) sheets making it quick and easy to cover large areas.
Neatmatch provides an alternative to wooden tongue and groove boards, it needs no conditioning and because it is made with moisture resistant MDF it is suitable for kitchens & bathrooms and other high humidity environments. This product is suitable for all sorts of room settings, from commercial to residential interiors, and from storage and recreational rooms through to traditional or contemporary living areas. It is particularly popular in dining rooms, hallways and bathrooms.
Although Neatmatch wall panelling is extremely popular among the professional trades, shop fitters and joiners, it can also be easily used by home DIY enthusiasts using everyday work tools, allowing people to be even more creative in their own home. We supply this MDF product, profile G416, pre-primed to make the installation as quick and convenient as possible. The sheets are normally fixed to batten on solid walls or could be fixed straight to studwork.
We keep pre-primed Moisture Resistant Neatmatch in “long grain” (LG) and “short grain” (SG) options. In the LG option the grooves run the long way (8′) making the panels useful for running up to the ceiling or picture rail. On the SG version the grooves run the 4′ way and is more suited for installations where the product is required to run up to dado rail height.
